My name is J O H A N N A H Ö G V Ä G and I´m an illustrator, graphic designer and pattern designer based in Jakobstad, Ostrobothnia. With nearly 20 years of experience as a freelance designer, I approach each assignment with confidence, efficiency, and reliability, always attentive to my clients’ needs.

As a designer, I am deeply inspired by everyday life. I enjoy capturing life’s simple moments -messy breakfast tables, my grandmother’s old kitchen cupboards, or the candy wrappers of childhood. I am particularly drawn to familiar environments and situations that invite recognition and connection.

My style is expressive yet minimalist, defined by graphic lines and bold, clear colours. As a freelance designer, I work efficiently and am easy to collaborate with. I have a strong ability to see the bigger picture and create cohesive visual solutions.
